Titanium 6242 is an alpha-beta alloy that is intended for high temperature applications up to 540 ˚C.

Properties

Weldable, high strength Ti alloy offering excellent strength, stability, and creep resistance to temperatures as high as 540˚C.

Applications

Typically Ti-6242 is used for high temperature application, such as: high-temp jet engines, gas turbine components such as discs, impellers, turbines, blades,  spacers, seals etc, high performance automotive valves.
